As part of the development of its activities, Flexsis SA is recruiting on behalf of a recognized engineering office in Geneva, specializing in structures and civil engineering, a Technician / Civil Engineer - Works Management and Cost Control.

Your responsibilities
--------------------

Technical studies and project preparation

• Participate in project analysis from the preliminary design phases.
• Study technical feasibility and identify execution constraints.
• Analyze plans, technical documents, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other representatives.

Estimation, tenders, and cost management

• Perform measurements, financial estimations, and quotes.
• Prepare tender dossiers and submissions.
• Analyze company offers and establish comparative tables.
• Ensure budgetary monitoring, cost control, and verification of accounts.
• Identify financial variances and propose corrective measures.

Management and monitoring of works

• Ensure technical monitoring and coordination of works on site.
• Participate in site and coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with plans, SIA standards, deadlines, and quality requirements.
• Anticipate and resolve technical problems encountered during execution.
• Participate in the handover of works and the monitoring of potential reservations.
• Write technical reports and monitoring documents.

Profile sought

Your profile
------------

• Higher education in civil engineering: ES/ET technician, HES engineer, or a title deemed equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar function, ideally within an engineering office or a construction company.
• Solid technical knowledge in the field of civil engineering, infrastructure, and/or structures.
• Experience in works management, measurements, tenders, and cost management.
• Good mastery of reading plans and Swiss standards, notably SIA.
• Proficiency in standard IT tools; knowledge of Messerli software is an asset.
• Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
• Sense of organization, autonomy, rigor, and ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Profiles coming from works management in companies, possessing solid experience in civil engineering and wishing to evolve towards a function within an engineering office, are also welcome.
