Head of Construction Area 80-100%

In this function, you will work in the Construction area within the Production department.

Your Mission

In the context of the upcoming realization of a large expansion project in the hydropower sector in Valais, the new Construction area is being created. Your task consists of building up resources and competencies, including the creation of client processes. You will take over the technical and personnel leadership of the Construction team and are active in the project organization and responsible for the goal-oriented and long-term development of the Construction area.

Your Profile

• University degree (ETH or FH) in a technical field (hydraulic engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) or equivalent training
• More than 10 years of experience in project management in the realization of interdisciplinary large-scale projects in the infrastructure sector (large-scale projects with a focus on industry and energy)
• More than 5 years of leadership experience
• Experience and in-depth commercial and legal knowledge in contract management during the realization phase
• Organizational, planning, and coordination skills; editorial skills
• Ability to handle stress
• Ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team of employees; participative leadership
• Communication skills, sensitivity, and negotiation skills.
• German or French native speaker with excellent knowledge of the other language (C1). Very good English skills (B2).
