Technical Controller for diamond calibration and engraving M/F

We are looking for a:

Technical Controller for diamond calibration and engraving

Job mission:

• Calibration of stones, control, stock management and engraving

Main tasks:

• Control of the dimension of baguettes (and/or stones) on a Keyance type machine
• Engraving of precious stones and control with a binocular microscope
• Management of priorities according to the production plan
• Preparation of measurement files for each OF
• Scanning of prepared OFs in the IT system
• Monthly and annual inventories of baguettes/precious stones

Substitution:

• Verify the quantities, carat weight and quality of precious stones upon receipt from our suppliers
• Calibration of precious stones, by hand or with calibration machines
• Stock management of the company's precious stones or those entrusted by clients in the ERP

Control tasks:

• Ensure the permanent accuracy of internal or client stocks
• Ensure compliance with our suppliers' specifications in terms of quality, size and color of precious stones

Organization:

• Collaborate with the different departments concerned by the specifications
• Refer to the operations management for priority management
• Refer to the purchasing department for any deviation from our precious stone suppliers

Job requirements:

• Skills in technical control
• Administrative skills
• Knowledge and mastery of measuring tools, notably Keyence or equivalent
• Knowledge of IT tools
• Knowledge in the field of diamonds and precious stones if possible
• Ability to adapt quickly to the different positions in the sector, as well as to the needs of the workshop
• Respect the confidentiality of the workstation and not take photos of the products being worked on
• Respect the company regulations
• Wear appropriate work clothes and the PPE necessary for the execution of the tasks of one's workstation
• Be focused and conscientious
• Work in an autonomous and responsible manner
