Your mission

You accompany people living with an intellectual disability on a daily basis by promoting their autonomy, their well-being and their participation in social life. Within a multidisciplinary team, you contribute to their safety, their fulfillment and the implementation of socio-educational projects adapted to their needs.

Your responsibilities

• Accompany beneficiaries in daily life activities by encouraging their autonomy.
• Ensure their safety and their state of health, administer medication and provide prescribed care.
• Observe the needs and capacities of each beneficiary and contribute to the development, monitoring and evaluation of socio-educational projects.
• Organize and lead adapted activities, both inside and outside the living environment.
• Maintain trusting relationships with families and loved ones, and collaborate closely with the educational and healthcare teams.
• Ensure the administrative and organizational follow-up of the living environment, including budget management, supplies and transport.
• Participate in team meetings, ensure the transmission of information and intervene in case of emergency situations.

Your profile

• Successfully completed training as a socio-educational assistant.
• Experience in the field of disability, ideally with people living with an intellectual disability.
• Ability to accompany beneficiaries with respect, benevolence and in an approach promoting their autonomy.
• Sense of observation and ability to identify individual needs and adapt the accompaniment.
• Team spirit, good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with different interlocutors.
• Sense of responsibility, organization and ability to manage administrative tasks related to the function.
• Flexibility to provide, if necessary, night shifts and adapt to the needs of the living environment.
