Specialized Coordinator for Natural Elements equipment at 80-100%

To reinforce our Division Défense Incendie et Secours, we are looking for our:

specialized «Éléments naturels» equipment specialist at 80-100%

Within the TLS entity (Technique et Logistique SDIS), you will participate in the implementation of our «Éléments naturels» strategy, mobilized on our three pillars: Assurer, Prévenir et Secourir. You will guarantee the state of readiness, the operational deployment, and the renewal of equipment, and you will also take part in engagement during interventions of the entity (on-call duty).

What awaits you if you join us?

You will represent the entity within the «Éléments naturels» strategic program by ensuring the progress of activities as well as the prioritization of actions. You will identify business needs and manage their acquisition, through multi-partner testing and the writing of evaluation reports. You will also develop concepts for the deployment and restoration of resources.

You will coordinate the actions necessary for the operational deployment and maintenance of «Éléments naturels» resources, participate in budget preparation, and identify risks relating to operational supply by proposing corrective measures. You will contribute to the skill development of your colleagues and ensure technological monitoring of solutions.

On mandate from your hierarchy, you will also take charge of other missions of the Support service. Finally, you will be on call service.

Your profile:

Holding a higher education degree (university or HES) or recognized training in the logistics field, you justify at least 5 years of proven experience in complex project management, engagement logistics, and logistical flows. You have also been a firefighter for at least 3 years.

You possess strong skills in communication, negotiation, and cost analysis, a good capacity for synthesis and reporting, you have experience in using an ERP, a good understanding of database systems, and you master standard office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) as well as project management tools. Equipped with a logical and pragmatic solution-oriented mindset, you know how to develop and implement work processes, and you demonstrate autonomy, collaborative ease, and good resistance to stress, with a marked interest in public service. Excellent command of French and very good writing skills are also required.

A recognized diploma or certification in project management (PMI, IPMA, specialized Master, CAS) represents an asset, as does experience in the use and implementation of natural element fighting equipment (pump, dam, etc.), in natural risk management, in crisis management, and in equipment acquisition procedures (public procurement, contractual documents).
