In order to complete our existing teams and to meet growing needs, we are looking for experienced male and female psychiatric nurses in the Côte sector in the canton of Vaud:

Psychiatric Nurses (M/F)

Structure and contract:

• Structures based in the Côte, in the canton of Vaud
• Specialties offered: psychiatry
• Short-notice temporary missions and long-term

Your profile:

• You have held a HES nursing degree or equivalent for more than 2 years with diploma recognition by the Swiss Red Cross,
• You possess a first confirmed and successful experience in the hospital sector of at least 6 months in Switzerland,
• Confirmed experience or strong marked interest in the field of psychiatry and mental health.
• Listening skills, excellent sense of empathy, rigor and effective management of crisis situations.
• You possess great interpersonal skills and know how to manage your emotions
• You are rigorous, adaptable and flexible

Your mission:

• Ensure the global and individualized care of patients hospitalized in a psychiatric unit.
• Evaluate care needs, plan and administer appropriate nursing interventions.
• Lead support interviews and participate in group or individual therapeutic activities.
• Actively collaborate with the medical team, social workers and other partners in the socio-sanitary network.
• Guarantee the traceability of care and the management of patient files via the current IT tools.
