About the role

As the right hand to the GIS Manager, you will combine your technical geomatics skills and your Product Owner posture to lead the development and evolution of the company's geoportail. You will act as a bridge between the needs of users in the field and the technical team.

Tasks
-------

Leading and developing cartographic applications within an agile environment to optimize the management of distribution networks.

• Manage and lead the realization in agile mode of cartographic and planning tools
• Collect, understand, and translate user requirements for the geoportail
• Collaborate with the GIS Manager to define the product vision and prioritize developments
• Ensure quality control of the integrated geospatial data
• Test developed cartographic solutions before their deployment
• Support users in the adoption of tools and organize training sessions
• Write the necessary technical and functional documentation

What we are looking for

• Higher education in geomatics, cartography, or urban planning
• Good mastery of GIS software, in particular the ArcGIS platform
• Good understanding and practice of Agile methodology
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proactivity, and curiosity of mind

An asset if you possess

• Experience as a Product Owner or digital product management
• Basic knowledge in Python scripting
• Knowledge in application design (UX)
