GENERAL MISSION

MPC Mélanges Produits Chimiques Sàrl is looking for a Head of International Trade, Compliance & Maghreb Development responsible for coordinating and developing the company's commercial, regulatory, documentary, and administrative operations between Europe and North African markets.

The position involves permanent coordination between industrial, logistical, banking, regulatory, and commercial partners located notably in Switzerland, Belgium, France, Algeria, Libya, and other Maghreb countries.

The job holder contributes to the development of MPC's activities, the securing of international operations, and the compliance of cross-border commercial flows.

MAIN MISSIONS

International business development

Participate in the development of MPC's activities in the Maghreb markets. Ensure the operational interface between European and North African partners. Participate in the identification and structuring of new commercial partnerships. Support the development of the company's activities in international markets. Participate in the implementation of regional growth and expansion projects.

Foreign trade & regulatory compliance

Supervise the documentary compliance of international operations. Ensure the monitoring of commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates, safety data sheets (SDS), and customs documents. Guarantee compliance with regulations applicable to foreign trade operations. Ensure the compliance of flows with ADR, CLP regulations and other applicable regulatory requirements. Coordinate legal partners, trustees, insurers, and control bodies.

Banking coordination & international operations

Ensure the relationship with banking institutions involved in international operations. Participate in the monitoring of bank domiciliation files, international payments, and documentary operations. Contribute to the financial and regulatory securing of foreign trade operations. Ensure the interface between commercial, banking, and logistical partners.

International logistical coordination

Supervise logistical flows between Europe and Maghreb markets. Coordinate operations with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistical partners. Participate in the optimization of transport schemes and documentary flows. Ensure the monitoring of procurement and distribution operations. Contribute to the overall performance of international operations.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

University degree or equivalent in the fields of management, finance, audit, international trade, business law, or related fields. Minimum 15 years of professional experience in management, finance, audit, regulatory compliance, foreign trade, or operations coordination functions. Confirmed experience in the management or coordination of activities involving multiple partners and multiple knowledge of commercial flows between Europe and the Maghreb. In-depth knowledge of administrative, banking, customs, and regulatory procedures related to foreign trade operations with Algeria. Confirmed experience in the documentary and administrative management of international operations. Excellent written and oral mastery of French and Arabic. Professional English. Demonstrated ability to simultaneously coordinate multiple partners understanding of the economic and regulatory environment of Maghreb countries. Availability for regular business travel in Switzerland, Europe, and Maghreb countries.

Assets

Experience in the technical, industrial, or chemical products sector. Knowledge of ADR, CLP regulations and regulated goods transport experience of operations involving industrial partners from the energy sector experience of business development in North African markets.
