ESENCIAL énergies, an electricity company active in the canton of Vaud, is strengthening its Technical & Performance Office and is looking for its future technical manager for electrical studies.

Why this position is essential to us ##

You are the link between the technical office, project managers, assembly teams, clients, and external partners. You intervene from the study phase to realization, which is why your design choices have a direct impact on the quality of our construction sites and on the satisfaction of our clients. You also have real leeway to improve our way of working: in a company that is developing in home automation and energy management, you contribute to designing smarter and more economical buildings.

Your missions ##

Design and study projects. You design and dimension electrical installations adapted to the needs of clients and their economic objectives. You participate in the various study phases according to SIA standards, prepare tender documents, and analyze the technical feasibility of projects.

Produce plans and files. You produce project, execution, assembly, and revision plans in CAD. You control measurements and quantities, and prepare study, instruction, and maintenance files.

Plan and monitor execution. Together with project managers, you anticipate execution phases to optimize resources and deadlines. During the works, you ensure technical monitoring, adapt plans if necessary, and act as the link with field needs. You participate in technical meetings with clients, architects, engineers, and works management, and perform site surveys when useful.

Prepare offers. You participate in the preparation of offers, tenders, and technical variants, evaluate costs, and keep information on suppliers and products up to date.

Advance the technical office. You develop a library of diagrams, details, and standardized solutions. You create file templates and nomenclatures, simplify processes, and utilize feedback from technicians. You also contribute to the introduction of new products and digital tools, particularly in home automation, smart home, and energy management.

Your profile ##

• Electrical project manager in BF planning / Electrical project manager in BF planning or Electrical Engineer, or a title deemed equivalent
• Mastery of high voltage and low voltage installations, and good knowledge of electrical equipment
• Good knowledge of NIBT, OIBT, and SIA standards
• Mastery of AutoCAD and very good knowledge of Revit (or vice versa)
• Good knowledge of Winprogitel EX, the CAN calculation manual, and Relux; BIMcollab is an asset
• Ease in multi-technical HVAC coordination and in the preparation of tenders
• Mastery of MS Office tools

Beyond the technical aspect, you are an organized, autonomous, and analytical person. You know how to argue your technical choices and assert yourself naturally in professional exchanges. You remain calm during busy periods. You like to propose improvements and share your knowledge with your colleagues.
