The contribution you can make

• Guarantee the training of electronics apprentices; ensure the achievement of performance and behavioral objectives in accordance with industry directives
• Provide inter-company courses in the following areas: basics of mechanics, production technology, basics of measurement, numerical measurement, microcontroller technology, and programming
• Hold the role of expert in cantonal examinations in the sector (LPF/LPI)
• Maintain good relationships with partners (cantonal training institutes, partner companies; in French and in German)
• Organize information events and other events intended for apprentices or their parents, as well as selection and orientation internships for new recruits
• Guarantee the control and preparation of periodic training reports

What distinguishes you

• Higher vocational training diploma in electronics (SSS technician or equivalent title) and proven practical experience of at least 5 years in the electronics field
• Complementary training in the sectors of professional pedagogy: federal professional certificate for trainers, Trainer qualification (main activity) or interest in obtaining it; sincere enthusiasm for the guidance and development of apprentices and young adults
• Mastery of the printed circuit board (PCB) development chain and computer-aided design (CAD) with Altium Designer, KiCAD, and FreeCAD, as well as production and prototyping techniques, including FDM/SLA 3D printing
• Excellent mastery of the C language applied to microcontrollers (in particular the STM32 architecture) and good knowledge of Python (OOP), combined with experience in version management (Git) and technical documentation (XWiki or LaTeX)
• Good knowledge of web infrastructures and databases (PHP, SQL) and proven proficiency in using AI assistants and agents as means to understand, maintain, and evolve existing solutions and tools
• Ability to relate to training partners (training companies, official institutes); good command of technical English

The Operations Command (Cdo Op) is responsible for all operations and all military deployments of the Swiss Army. It includes, among others, the Air Force, the Land Forces, the four territorial divisions, the SWISSINT Competence Center, the special forces command, and the military police.
