French / German

Do you want to develop your experience in purchasing within an industrial and technical environment? This position constitutes a great opportunity for a profile with initial experience in purchasing and wishing to progressively gain autonomy.

Job Description

• Manage purchases and orders from suppliers.
• Ensure follow-up of orders, deadlines, and deliveries.
• Participate in requests for quotations and the comparison of supplier proposals.
• Be in regular contact with suppliers in Switzerland and abroad.
• Contribute to negotiations of prices and purchasing conditions.
• Collaborate closely with various internal interlocutors.
• Participate in the monitoring and optimization of the supplier portfolio.

Profile Sought
-----------------

• Commercial or technical training ideally supplemented by a purchasing/procurement orientation.
• Successful first experience in industrial purchasing, ideally 2 to 3 years.
• Experience in metallurgy, metal processing, metal construction, machining, or the mechanical industry constitutes a real advantage.
• We are also open to a Purchasing Assistant / Purchasing Manager profile having already had real involvement in purchasing and wishing to evolve.
• Fluent French and good knowledge of German indispensable.
• Comfortable with IT tools and ERP environments.
• Organized, pragmatic personality, comfortable in supplier contacts and appreciating industrial environments.
