CRS Health Care Assistant / Nursing Assistant

Do you wish to engage in a human, useful activity close to patients?
As part of the reinforcement of our pool of employees, we are looking for several CRS Health Care Assistants and Nursing Assistants for missions within home care structures in the canton of Vaud.
The selected candidates may be presented to the various partner home care associations and foundations in the canton.
Mission

• Accompany clients in activities of daily living.
• Ensure basic care and support services according to current directives.
• Participate in maintaining the autonomy and comfort of clients in their homes.
• Observe the general state of the accompanied persons and transmit useful information to the nursing teams.
• Provide relational support and contribute to the physical and psychological well-being of clients.
• Collaborate with nurses, ASSC and other professionals intervening at home.
• Ensure the traceability of interventions in the IT tools provided.

Profile

• CRS Health Care Assistant certificate or nursing assistant diploma recognized in Switzerland.
• For candidates holding a foreign diploma, Swiss Red Cross (CRS) recognition is mandatory or in the process of being obtained.
• Experience in home care, in EMS, in an institution or in a hospital setting is appreciated.
• Sense of service, benevolence and respect for the person.
• Excellent relational and human qualities.
• Ability to work autonomously and to manage daily travel.
• Good command of spoken and written French.
• Ease with IT tools for care monitoring.

Indispensable conditions

• Valid category B driving license
• Personal vehicle mandatory
• Clean ordinary criminal record and special extract (documents requested as part of the recruitment)
