Socio-educational assistant

To complete our team, we are looking for an ASE wishing to embrace the philosophy of Sans Souci, where we accompany each person from where they are, from their resources, their choices, and their aspirations, in an approach oriented towards recovery, self-determination, and harm reduction.

ASE at 80%-100%

Start date: as soon as possible or by agreement

Hours: continuous + weekends and on-call

Working at Sans-Souci means:

• Accompanying people living with mental health disorders in their recovery journey and life projects.
• Developing a global, individualized, and non-judgmental support relationship that recognizes the experience, choices, resources, and aspirations of each person.
• Supporting self-determination and empowerment, by constructing with the person responses that take into account their priorities, their abilities, but also the risks they choose to take.
• Embedding one's practice in a harm reduction approach, particularly regarding consumption, by prioritizing dialogue, pragmatism, and the search for adapted strategies rather than an exclusively prescriptive logic.
• Co-constructing rehabilitation and reintegration projects with residents, in partnership with their network and the various professionals involved.
• Evolving in a dynamic, interdisciplinary work environment open to initiative, allowing for varied, creative, and reflexive practice.
• Benefiting from the working conditions provided by the CCT of the Vaudois parapublic sector.

We are looking for:

• An ASE with experience in psychiatry, holding a CFC in ASE
• A professional who shares a vision of support oriented towards recovery, recognizing the person as an actor in their journey, their choices, and their life project, including when these involve a degree of risk.
• A person capable of adopting a benevolent, non-judgmental posture that respects self-determination, seeking the balance between empowerment, safety, and professional responsibility.
• A professional comfortable with a harm reduction approach, capable of accompanying consumption and risk-taking with pragmatism, without trivialization or a dismissive posture, autonomous, flexible and creative, capable of questioning their practices, adapting to situations and constructing individualized responses rather than systematically applying standardized responses.
• Finally, a professional who appreciates interdisciplinary and partnership-based work, the constructive confrontation of perspectives, and co-construction with residents and their network.
