About the position Experis is recruiting for one of its industrial clients an Industrial IT Business Analyst capable of ensuring the interface between production teams and IT teams. In this central role, you support business departments in expressing their needs, coordinate evolution projects for industrial tools, and ensure the quality of data necessary for the smooth running of operations. Your mission consists of understanding field challenges, formalizing them, and transforming them into suitable solutions in collaboration with IT teams and the various stakeholders of the company. ##

Your responsibilities ##

• Be the primary contact for production teams for matters related to industrial information systems.
• Collect, analyze, and formalize business needs.
• Translate operational needs into functional specifications understandable by IT teams.
• Ensure the interface between users, IT teams, and external partners.
• Coordinate evolution projects for business tools and applications.
• Contribute to the improvement of industrial processes and information flows.
• Guarantee the quality and consistency of master data used by different systems.
• Participate in data governance and the definition of best practices.
• Support change management, train users, and promote the adoption of new solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and bring various stakeholders together around projects.
• Ensure regular follow-up with field teams to understand their challenges and operational constraints.

Your responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for production teams for matters related to information systems.
• Understand operational needs and translate them into functional specifications exploitable by IT teams.
• Serve as the link between business departments, technical teams, and external partners.
• Support users in the evolution of processes and tools.
• Lead or coordinate improvement and digital transformation projects.
• Organize and facilitate workshops with different stakeholders.
• Guarantee the quality, consistency, and reliability of master data.
• Contribute to data governance and the continuous improvement of associated practices.
• Coordinate the various stakeholders involved in projects.
• Participate in impact analysis, change management, and user training.
• Ensure a field presence to understand the daily problems of production teams and provide appropriate responses.

Profile sought

• HES Engineer degree, university degree, or equivalent training.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Switzerland in a manufacturing industrial environment.
• Proven experience in an interface role between business departments and IT.
• Good understanding of industrial processes and production constraints.
• Experience in collecting, analyzing, and formalizing business needs.
• Experience in project management and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience in master data management and data governance.
• Good understanding of ERP, MES, PLM environments or similar industrial applications.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to produce functional specifications.
• Ability to popularize technical subjects for non-specialist interlocutors.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a developed sense of service.
