To strengthen our office, we are looking for an experienced works director.

Tasks/Responsibilities

• Lead your projects from the preparation of execution until the acceptance of works, ensuring the monitoring of costs, deadlines, and quality
• Organize and supervise construction sites: setup, safety, logistics, and coordination of stakeholders
• Coordinate all actors in a project: clients, architects, engineers, companies, and specialized mandatories
• Keep the site journal and site meetings, write minutes, and control the conformity of the works with the plans
• Master tenders, bids, awards, measurements, and accounts
• Organize acceptances at all levels, follow up on the lifting of reservations and warranty works

Profile

• Higher education in the field of construction: qualified works director / federal master's, EPF/HES architect or training deemed equivalent (an initial career path as a building draughtsman completed by training in works management is an important asset)
• Minimum 5 years of confirmed experience in works management and/or construction project management, with proven experience in the autonomous management of projects, ideally in Switzerland
• Experience in leading projects of significant size and complexity, from the preparation of execution until the acceptance of works
• Development of details
• Solid knowledge of construction techniques, materials, SIA standards, and Swiss regulations applicable to construction
• Mastery of tenders, monitoring of costs, deadlines, and quality of execution
• Autonomy, rigor, sense of responsibility, excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent command of French orally and in writing; any other language is an asset
