Storekeeper Logistics / Equipment Manager (a)

jobgate ag is a personnel services company based in Aarau and specializes in the placement and rental of specialist personnel in the areas of mechanics, technology, IT, commercial professions, logistics, timber construction, chemistry, and the construction trade.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Storekeeper / Equipment Manager (a) starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Responsibility for all operational equipment
• Organization and management of the tool warehouse in Visp as well as the external warehouse in Olten
• Issuing and returning tools, machines, and operating resources
• Carrying out visual condition checks during issue and return
• Ensuring the operational readiness and availability of the equipment
• Organization and coordination of maintenance, repairs, and safety checks
• Monitoring of inspection intervals and maintenance cycles
• Labeling and management of new operating resources
• Maintenance and updating of equipment data in the IT systems
• Cooperation with purchasing, logistics, project management, and operational teams
• Ensuring order, cleanliness, and structure in the warehouse

Your profile

• Completed vocational training in a technical or manual profession
• Several years of professional experience as a storekeeper, material custodian, tool manager, or in a comparable function
• Very good technical understanding
• Good German and English skills in spoken and written form
• Very good IT skills (Office 365, Excel, ERP systems)
• Driver's license Cat. B
• Forklift license category R1 and R4
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
• High level of initiative and strong sense of responsibility
• Organizational skills as well as solution-oriented thinking
• Flexibility regarding place of work and working hours
