On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for a Buyer (M/F).

Your future responsibilities:

• You will identify and analyze procurement needs and organize requests for quotations from suppliers.
• You will conduct negotiations in order to obtain advantageous pricing and commercial conditions.
• You will search for new partners and contribute to the development of a reliable and high-performing supplier network.
• You will regularly evaluate supplier services and develop lasting relationships with strategic partners.
• You will monitor market trends as well as price evolution in order to identify new possibilities for savings and cost improvement.
• You will participate in the drafting of supplier contracts and ensure their follow-up.
• You will establish the indicators and dashboards necessary for steering purchasing activities.
• You will take charge of any supplier non-conformities and coordinate the implementation of the necessary corrective measures.

Your profile:

• You will have a perfect command of French and will have very good knowledge of German or Swiss German.
• You will hold a CFC as a commercial employee or an equivalent training, ideally completed by a specialization in purchasing.
• You will have at least five years of experience in a similar function within the metal industry.
• You will distinguish yourself by your sense of organization, your rigor, and your ease in negotiation.
• You will work independently and will know how to propose solutions adapted to different situations.
• Your analytical capacity and your results-oriented approach will allow you to contribute actively to the improvement of purchasing performance.
