As a sector manager, under the direction of the head of the service des affaires sociales, you guarantee individual aid services by making them visible and accessible while developing them.
You are furthermore the person of reference on integration issues within the Administration.
Thus, you will mainly be responsible for:
Managing a team of ten people, ensuring compliance with rules and procedures, as well as the ethical principles related to the function;
Maintaining strategic monitoring of social issues and holding a role as a professional referent, while ensuring support in complex situations;
Ensuring responsibility for the management of transition housing;
Managing the sector budget and occasional financial aid;
Being a force for proposals for integration issues and piloting related projects and actions;
Collaborating with other sectors of the service on cross-functional projects and developing and managing projects specific to your field.

YOU OFFER
You hold a HES diploma in social work with a postgraduate certification or equivalent;
You justify solid professional experience in the field of individual and/or collective social work, as well as proven experience in team management of at least three years;
You have a very good knowledge of social issues and the Geneva social network;
You master basic IT tools (Office suite);
Your commitment and your sense of public service testify to your full adherence to the values of the Ville de Carouge.
