The City and Municipality of Boudry, which has nearly 6-700 inhabitants, employs approximately 95 employees in service of the population.

In order to strengthen the team of the Finance Department, the Municipal Council is putting out to tender the position of

Generalist Accountant at 100% (M/F) ###

Within a dynamic team, you will actively participate in the financial and accounting management of the Municipality, in compliance with the legal standards in force.

Your missions

You will notably assume the following tasks:

• Maintenance of general and auxiliary accounting according to MCH2 standards
• Recording and control of accounting entries
• Monitoring of debtors and creditors
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Participation in the annual closing of accounts and in the preparation of the budget
• Contribution to the improvement of accounting and financial processes
• Execution of controlling tasks and budget monitoring

Experience and training required

• Training in accounting (CFC in commercial employee with accounting specialization)
• Federal diploma of specialist in finance and accounting, an asset
• Confirmed professional experience in a similar function and/or in controlling (minimum 10 years).
• Experience in municipal administration constitutes a major asset
• Ease with IT tools and accounting ERPs (Abacus, an asset)
• Excellent mastery of usual IT tools, in particular Excel
