Chief Accountant - 80-100% - Valais - CDI
For one of our clients, a human-sized Swiss SME based in Valais, we are looking for a Chief Accountant.
Reporting directly to the General Management, you take responsibility for all the accounting and financial activities of the company.
Your main responsibilities:
-Supervise general, auxiliary, and analytical accounting.
-Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
-Produce financial reporting and performance analyses.
-Manage treasury, taxation, and relations with external partners.
-Develop budgets, forecasts, and monitor financial indicators.
-Optimize accounting processes and support improvement projects.
-Be a true partner to the Management on financial and organizational subjects.
We are looking for a person with:
-Federal Diploma in Finance & Accounting or equivalent training.
-Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, with experience in an SME.
-Excellent mastery of Swiss accounting, taxation, and reporting.
-Fluent French; English is an asset.
-Leadership, autonomy, and a pragmatic approach.
