Reference: CLS/RH/2026.782 / Contract type: Indefinite Term Contract at 100% / Schedule: Monday to Sunday according to several hourly shifts at the earliest 7:00 and at the latest 19:00 + night shifts 19:00-7:00 + weekend on-call from 7:00 to 19:00 / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop « Riponne » or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop « Beaulieu-Jomini »)

Why do we need you?

To strengthen our team in the operating block, we are looking for a Specialized Operating Room Technical Assistant in order to contribute to patient·es safety and the smooth running of interventions.

What will you be required to do?

• Participate in the reception, comfort, installation, and safety of patient·es within the operating rooms
• Participate in the application of hygiene and asepsis rules during pre-, peri-, and postoperative periods
• Collaborate in the progress of surgical or interventional medical procedures as a circulator
• Handle surgical and radiological devices within the framework of the progress of surgical interventions

• You will join a multidisciplinary team of approximately 60 collaborators, including 13 specialized operating room technical assistants. What do we expect from you?

Essentials:

• Hold a Certificat d-assistant·e technique spécialisé·e en salle d-opération (ATSSO)
• Demonstrate successful experience in the operating block
• Rigorously master the rules of asepsis, hygiene, and safety in the operating room
• Collaborate effectively with the entire block team (surgeons, anesthesiologists, scrub nurses, operating room assistants)
• Communicate in a clear, structured manner adapted to the operative context
• Demonstrate composure and reliability in critical situations
• Assume your responsibilities with professionalism, discretion, and a sense of confidentiality
• Integrate quickly into a team thanks to a high capacity for adaptation
