The construction training institute is attached to the Société Suisse des Entrepreneurs Genève, an employers' organization that represents nearly 90% of the workforce in the main construction sector in Geneva. Mandated by various services of the state of Geneva, the institute provides various training courses for construction employees. These include initial training (apprenticeship), as well as continuing education and professional development (A32, machine operators and crane operators, slinging, etc.).

In anticipation of a retirement and as part of the development of our projects, we are looking for an

Adult educator at the halle des maçons at 100 %

Your main missions

• Participate in the development of CFC/AFP mason and CFC/AFP road construction curricula for adults in the article 32 track
• Participate in the development of curricula for professional development courses, including for team leaders
• Design and develop course materials, create pedagogical tools
• Implement the training
• Deliver practical and theoretical courses
• Control the knowledge and acquisition of skills of the candidates
• Participate in the organization and supervision of examinations as an expert
• Participate in the enhancement and promotion of construction trades

Your profile

• You hold a diploma as a site manager (conducteur de travaux) or a federal certificate as a foreman (contremaître) or an equivalent title
• Ideally, you are a holder of an FSEA trainer certificate module 1
• You benefit from solid experience in structural work and/or civil engineering sites in Switzerland (mandatory condition)
• You are passionate about vocational training and supporting students
• You like to permanently update your own knowledge on new technologies
• You identify with the institutional and associative values requiring versatility, flexibility, discretion,
• Your sense of service, commitment and loyalty is proven
• You are autonomous, rigorous and organized in order to respect deadlines
• You have a strong team spirit
• You have perfect command of the French language and calculations applied to the construction site
