Head of Financial Services

80 - 100% within the Financial Services Department

Field of activity

Within the Administrative Directorate, you ensure the strategic and operational management (financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable) of the financial services department

Elaboration of a strategy for the department and its implementation

Management of the department's human resources (approximately 15 people)

Closing of accounts and preparation of supporting documents

Specific financial monitoring and audits, preparation of various statements and elaboration of statistics

Monitoring of relations with the department's external partners (fiduciary companies, banks, State of Fribourg, Confederation)

Expert and sparring partner for the administrative directorate

Contribution to the global strategic vision of the University's finances

Contribution to the elaboration of the financial plan and the annual budget

Requirements

You have a degree in finance and accounting (min. federal diploma) and you have completed postgraduate continuing education in the field of financial expertise and controlling

Ease in the analysis of results and management control

Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA software and office tools (Microsoft 365)

Several years of experience in project management and team management

Knowledge of public administration processes or willingness to undergo training in this field

Excellent command of the French or German language with very good knowledge of the other language

Linguistic requirements

French and/or German
