Acting on behalf of the university hospitals of the cantons of Vaud and Geneva, the Centrale d-achats et d-ingénierie biomédicale (CAIB) ensures the purchase of all kinds of goods and services to guarantee optimum hospital operation under the best market conditions, in compliance with the rules and laws governing our institutions. In this framework, it coordinates all purchases and plans the acquisition and renewal files for heavy equipment. The CAIB has established partnerships with various regional hospitals and operates throughout Suisse Romande.

Job Description ##

As a buyer, you centralize the various needs emanating from the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève (HUG) and lead the appropriate acquisition processes in compliance with public procurement rules.

In collaboration with the buyers and procurement managers of the CAIB, you are responsible for the development and deployment of the procurement strategy for the real estate construction category.

You are responsible for the management and control of the supplier panel for your category. In this capacity, you conduct calls for tender, collaborating with your internal clients, and intervene from the definition of the need, up to the contracting and monitoring of the development of the supplier relationship.

You participate in the animation of the CAIB affiliate network by sharing your procurement expertise and your knowledge of market trends.

Qualifications ##

You hold a higher education degree such as a Master HES or equivalent, preferably with a recognized Master in procurement (KEDGE, DESMA, etc-).

You possess a minimum of 3 years of confirmed experience in procurement with initial confirmed experience in indirect procurement and ideally in real estate construction investments.

You have perfect mastery of the French language (read, spoken, and written) and very good knowledge of English (C1 level).

Excellent mastery and knowledge of IT tools are also required.
