Automation Technician (M/F)

Your mission

For one of our clients, a renowned international company, we are looking for an Automation Technician (M/F) for its production site in Romont. You are responsible for the proper functioning of the automation installations and you actively contribute to their evolution. A practical position, at the heart of a modern industrial environment, where your improvement ideas are expected. Your tasks: Ensure the proper functioning and troubleshooting of automation equipment; Create, maintain, and master technical documentation in the field of automation; Propose and participate in continuous improvement projects, using suitable problem-solving tools (GSTD, DMAIC, SMED); Provide technical support to the different departments of the factory

Your profile

You are an autonomous person, comfortable in the field, with a sense of improvement and teamwork. You have: A degree in automation; Confirmed experience in an industrial environment, ideally in the agri-food industry; Good knowledge in troubleshooting and programming Allen Bradley PLCs and Wonderware supervision systems (Archestra, InTouch); Siemens (an asset); The ability to read and understand electrical and electronic diagrams; Knowledge of electro-automation hardware: starters, frequency converters, drives, servomotors; Basic knowledge of server architectures and networks; Proficiency with digital tools (Power BI, Copilot); Knowledge of instrumentation and vision systems; OIBT (an asset); You are: Available to work in 4x8 shifts (continuous teams); Solution-oriented and rigorous; Comfortable collaborating with various teams
