Do you want to leverage your expertise in finance in a role combining financial steering, controlling and project management?

On behalf of our client, a public institution active in the field of training and operating in a dynamic environment, we are looking for a deputy head of finance at 80% - 100% to support financial steering and contribute to the development of the department's activities.

Your tasks at your new employer

• You supervise general accounting, carry out interim and annual closing work and participate in the preparation of financial statements
• You participate in audits as well as the budgetary process
• You develop and improve controlling and financial steering tools
• You contribute to the application and maintenance of the internal control system (ICS) and participate in risk management
• You support the head of department in steering financial activities and ensure her substitution in her absence
• You steer various transformation projects, notably related to digitalization, process automation and the optimization of the department's tools
• You ensure the quality as well as the reliability of financial data

You offer your new employer

• You hold a Bachelor's degree, a federal diploma or a title deemed equivalent in accounting, finance or economics
• You benefit from at least 5 years of confirmed professional experience in a similar function
• You possess experience in the public sector, ideally with knowledge of MCH2 standards which constitutes a real advantage
• You have an advanced mastery of finance, controlling and mechanisms related to an internal control system (ICS)
• Ideally, you have initial experience in management and/or project management
• You master financial steering and analysis tools
• You are autonomous and solution-oriented with an excellent analytical and synthesis spirit
