The SPAJ ensures child and youth protection, prevention and promotion of youth activities and parenting support, the care of adults in social difficulty, as well as the monitoring and development of the reception, support and protection system for children and youth.

Your missions
By joining our team, you play a key role by providing valuable legal support to the management and all entities of the service.
You ensure the application of the legal framework, ensuring that the activities of the service are in perfect compliance with the legal provisions in force.
You also develop a legal support policy to accompany employees in the performance of their specific tasks.
You draft legal opinions, reports, draft decisions and revise laws, regulations, directives, etc.
Finally, you define the procedures relating to the implementation of various international conventions, such as the federal law on international child abduction and the Hague Conventions on the protection of children and adults (LF-EEA).

Your profile
With a master's degree in law or a title deemed equivalent, you have at least 8 years of professional experience with a specialization or significant experience in family law, personal law or administrative law.
Your professional experience in a similar field and your excellent knowledge of the Neuchâtel adult and child protection system constitute an undeniable advantage for holding this position.
Organized, comfortable on a relational level, you possess a sense of responsibility and teamwork.
Finally, your commitment and sensitivity towards social and human issues represent an additional asset.
