A key role at the interface between the Foundation and the humanitarian institutions of international Geneva
Your responsibilities
Reporting to the Deputy Secretary General in charge of the Humanitarian pole, you assist her in the deployment of the pole's strategic axes and become its privileged liaison with beneficiaries. You ensure the compliance of support requests received, up to the processing of files carried out by the managers. In this capacity, you develop and maintain trusting relationships with the supported organizations, whose interlocutors are mainly general managements and philanthropic managers. You analyze their activity reports and their annual accounts, write summary notes, and share useful information with the managers. You also ensure active monitoring of the actors and issues of the institutions of international Geneva. The position is based in Geneva and does not include travel abroad.
Your profile
Holder of a Bachelor's degree in international relations, political science, or an equivalent title, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience within one or more NGOs of international Geneva, ideally in development or project management. Thanks to your solid understanding of the issues of international Geneva, the realities of field actors, as well as your good financial knowledge, you are able to analyze an activity report or annual accounts. Comfortable with interlocutors of all levels, including general managements, with whom you develop trusting relationships, you stand out by your writing ease and your taste for analytical research. Rigorous, autonomous, and endowed with a great capacity for synthesis, you know how to demonstrate discretion, kindness, and empathy.
