Job description:

What you will do:

Develops and cultivates strong relationships with customers and suppliers

Acts as a technical account manager on assigned accounts, managing all technical aspects, including but not limited to: lifecycle management, bill of materials (BOM) management, customer product roadmaps, regular business reviews.

Designs solutions based on customers' strategic business or technical requirements

Collaborates with sales teams to appropriately manage all technical aspects of customer programs.

Works with customers to identify and clarify requirements in order to determine the best solutions.

Leverages resources to meet the customer's technical needs and objectives.

Provides technical expertise, using appropriate configuration tools and experience to recommend relevant systems, solutions and/or products.

Stays up to date on technical specifications for hardware/software requirements, maintaining technical proficiency in the latest technological trends to recommend solutions for new and existing customers.

Tracks activity using appropriate tools - this may include pre-sales activity, account management, training, etc.

Works closely with the sales enablement team and other project teams.

Participates in training to maintain knowledge of industry standards, new technologies and current trends.

May serve as a backup for team members, if necessary.

This job profile requires assignment to and participation in a sales compensation plan. A portion of the total target compensation (OTE) will be variable and tied to specific sales-related objectives defined by Arrow.

This role will require up to 25% travel within the United States and Canada.

What we are looking for:

Generally requires a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with a 4-year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.

Acts as an expert in their own discipline

Designs solutions to solve complex problems where no solution currently exists

Requires deep and/or broad specialized expertise in key technological areas

Uses internal business tools to support the engineering change control process, review and management of work orders and other internal processes

Works independently, with direction only in the most complex situations

Acts as a senior-level technical resource for other team members and junior staff

Often leads functional teams or projects and serves as a best practices/quality resource

Holds certifications in one or more vendor partner technologies

Represents the level at which a career can stabilize for many years or even until retirement

May serve as a leader for others or for projects

Working arrangements:

Fully remote: Must be able to travel to an Arrow office at the request of Arrow management.

Annual compensation range/hourly rate:

$166,700.00 - $180,717.90

The actual compensation offer to the candidate may vary from the displayed range depending on geographic location, professional experience, education and/or skill level. The compensation ratio between base salary and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer.

Location:

US-CO-Colorado (remote employees) Remote employees may be required to be present at the nearest designated Arrow office for work-related reasons, at the request and sole discretion of the company.
