About Our Client ##

Our client is a human-sized Swiss company based in central Valais. As part of the evolution of its financial organization, we are supporting them in the recruitment of their future Head of Accounting and Finance (80-100%).

Job Description ##

Reporting to General Management, you will take responsibility for all the accounting and financial activities of the company:

• Management of general and cost accounting
• Performance of monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Production of financial reporting and performance analyses
• Management of treasury and tax matters
• Preparation of budgets and monitoring of forecasts
• Participation in the continuous improvement of financial processes
• Supervision and development of an accounting employee
• Supporting Management in strategic and operational reflections

The Successful Applicant ##

• Federal Diploma of Specialist in Finance and Accounting desired or training deemed equivalent (Bachelor, Master or comparable title)
• Good knowledge of Swiss accounting, taxation and financial reporting
• Perfect mastery of French orally and in writing (C1 level)
• Professional English (B2 level) desired
• Experience within an SME or a human-sized structure appreciated
• Team spirit and sense of collaboration
• Pragmatic and operational approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills, humility, reliability and sense of responsibility
