HEAD OF RAIL ROLLING STOCK MAINTENANCE SECTION
Les Transports Publics du Chablais (TPC) in Aigle employ more than
400 collaborators and manage four regional railway lines, as well as a bus network extending over many Vaud and Valais communes.
As part of the growth of our company as well as the development of our transport offer, a new organization of our Fleet unit is going to be implemented in order to better respond to the evolving maintenance needs of our rail and road rolling stock.
In this context, we are looking for a :
HEAD OF RAIL ROLLING STOCK MAINTENANCE SECTION (80-100 %)
YOUR MISSION
You lead your section and, as such, you ensure the management of personnel (approx. 10 people) and are responsible for the maintenance activities of the rail rolling stock. You ensure the reliability of the railway vehicles both in terms of safety and quality, notably on the basis of the DE-OCF, RTE standards, UTP recommendations, and industry and company prescriptions. You supervise and coordinate the execution of activities also in terms of compliance with deadlines and costs. Furthermore, you optimize maintenance activities in order to contribute to high vehicle availability. You define and ensure the railway maintenance objectives of your section in connection with the rolling stock strategy and the Fleet unit objectives. In addition, you organize and manage the activity of your section by demonstrating proactivity as well as flexibility during urgent interventions. You identify and apply continuous improvement possibilities. Finally, you create the necessary synergies with the other entities of the company, in order to guarantee good coordination and communication.
YOUR PROFILE
Benefiting from basic training in a technical field, you have completed your professional curriculum with higher education (federal brevet or ES diploma) in the field of maintenance. In addition, you possess the B80 railway permit or are willing to follow the training with a view to obtaining it. You have proven experience in team management in the railway or industrial field. You know how to define priorities and respect deadlines while demonstrating a global vision, proactivity, as well as rigor in the realization of your missions. You also have the capacity to anticipate problems and to implement adequate solutions, sometimes within tight deadlines. Your listening/communication capacity constitutes one of your strengths and allows you to unite and develop your collaborators.
