The Ombudsman de l'assurance privée et de la Suva intervenes in an independent, neutral and free manner in the event of problems and conflicts regarding insurance with its affiliated private insurers, Suva and other public law accident insurers.
We contribute to compensating for the imbalance of knowledge and power between the insured and the insurance companies, and to guaranteeing access to justice for insured persons who are not already represented by a legal professional.
In order to complete our team, we are looking for an engaged and dynamic personality for 1 November 2026 or by arrangement as a

in insurance law
Occupancy rate: 100 %
Contract type: Permanent position (indefinite duration)
Languages: French (mother tongue or excellent command, at negotiation language level)
Workplace: Neuchâtel (and teleworking)
Start date: 1 November 2026 or by arrangement
Your tasks in this function
Process legal files and requests (in writing and by telephone) in French
Conduct negotiations in French; proficiency in English is an asset
Evaluate and clarify complex legal questions in all insurance branches
What you bring to this function
Swiss university degree in law accompanied by the bar exam
Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in insurance law, ideally with solid practice in legal assessment and claims follow-up in the fields of LCA (life and non-life) and LAA
A way of working that is autonomous, conscientious and responsible, combined with a strong team spirit
Negotiation skills, empathy and confidence in delicate interview situations
A high motivation and good resistance to stressA strong sense of serviceEase of expression in French in exchanges with various target audiences
