Wild Animal Keeper CFC

For one of our clients, we are looking for an animal keeper holding a CFC, with solid experience in the care of wild and exotic animals.

Responsibilities

• Your main responsibilities:
• Ensure daily care, feeding and monitoring of the animals
• Take care of different species, including: Birds and avian species, Reptiles, Primates - monkeys, Poultry
• Observe the behavior and general condition of the animals
• Quickly identify any change in behavior or sign requiring special attention
• Maintain, clean and upkeep living spaces, aviaries, enclosures and facilities
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and animal welfare rules
• Collaborate with the various stakeholders in charge of animal monitoring
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the living and accommodation conditions of the different species

Profile

• CFC in animal keeping, or recognized equivalent Swiss training
• Proven experience with wild and/or exotic animals
• Very good knowledge of birds, with real avian expertise
• Desired experience with reptiles, primates and poultry
• Excellent observation skills
• Acute sense of responsibility and animal welfare
• Calm, reliable, rigorous and autonomous person
• Comfortable with physical work and outdoor activities
• Availability and flexibility according to the needs related to the animals
