On behalf of our client, a very fine company, we are looking for:

Industrial Project Manager

Industrials & dimensioning (M/F)

CDI - FIXED 100% - ON SITE Genève

Your mission

Within an engineering office integrated into an international industrial group, you will lead multidisciplinary industrial investment projects, from the definition of needs to the commissioning and acceptance of the installations.

Your central role consists of guaranteeing the technical dimensioning of equipment, the consistency of the chosen solutions and the control of budgets, costs and deadlines.

Your responsibilities

• Project management: coordinate the different phases of the projects, from the preliminary design to acceptance, while guaranteeing quality, costs and deadlines.
• Technical dimensioning: define the capacities of equipment and industrial utilities based on the real needs of the sites, perform mass and energy balances and challenge supplier proposals.
• Budget management: establish investment estimates (CAPEX), cost different lots and follow budgets until the closure of the projects.
• Technical coordination: ensure consistency between the different lots (process, bottling, utilities, electricity, automation, piping and civil engineering) and manage interfaces between stakeholders.
• Operational monitoring: coordinate suppliers, design offices and local teams, plan interventions and limit production shutdowns.
• Continuous improvement: formalize feedback from experience and contribute to the evolution of dimensioning standards and tools.

The position is exercised without direct hierarchical management, with a role of coordination and functional animation of project teams.

Your profile

• Engineering degree in industrial engineering, mechanical, process engineering or equivalent training.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in managing multidisciplinary industrial projects, including several transformation or extension projects of existing sites (brownfield).
• Proven experience in technical dimensioning and industrial investment estimation.
• Good understanding of industrial processes, utilities and the integration challenges between technical lots.
• Mastery of Excel and MS Project; knowledge of AutoCAD appreciated.
• Fluent French and operational technical English, both written and spoken.

Rigour, autonomy, critical thinking and the ability to argue your technical choices based on numerical data. You know how to challenge suppliers, unite interlocutors from different professions and evolve in a multicultural environment.

Experience in the beverage or agri-food sectors constitutes a major asset.

• Regular travel to industrial sites in Africa, for missions of one to two weeks.
