Project Manager - Transformation Datacenters

Administrative prerequisite: Swiss residence required upon taking up the position (relocation possible before start)

Context:

Our client, an actor in a highly regulated financial environment, builds and operates the infrastructure platforms that host all of its business applications. The Datacenter & Cloud team designs, industrializes, and operates these platforms by combining security, compliance, performance, and resilience.

Missions:

• Lead the datacenter transformation program from end to end: planning, budget, risks, comitology
• Unify international and local teams around shared objectives to guarantee a smooth transition
• Coordinate the relocation of applications, services, and the transformation of assets towards cloud services or towards the Genève site: databases, servers, virtual desktop environments (VDI), file shares
• Identify, track, and manage program risks
• Lead steering committees, produce presentation materials, and ensure coordination with all stakeholders
• Coordinate the exit from remote datacenters at the end of the program, once transformations and migrations are completed

Profile sought:

Indispensable

• Proven experience in leading large-scale projects or initiatives: mastery of project management methodologies and tools, budget, and risk management
• Ability to lead a steering committee and coordinate multiple stakeholders, including internationally
• Team leader posture: quality orientation, respect for deadlines and budget, ability to motivate
• Knowledge of a regulated banking or financial environment, its applications, and its compliance constraints
• Fluent French and English, both written and spoken

Assets

• Experience in datacenter, transformation, cloud, architecture, and infrastructure design/deployment
• Skills in compute, storage, virtualization, network, and security domains

Education

Higher education in engineering or computer science (EPF, HES or equivalent).

Languages

• French: native language or equivalent
• English: advanced level.
