Jar Filling Operator 80-100% (with deputy team leader function)

At FEEL EAT, we prepare fresh, balanced, and high-quality meals every day, distributed in our connected refrigerators to companies in French-speaking Switzerland. To strengthen our production team in Neuchâtel, we are looking for a jar filling operator who will also assume the role of deputy to the team leader during her absences.

Your mission
Within our production workshop, you will actively participate in the jar filling of our dishes while ensuring compliance with quality, hygiene, and productivity standards.
In the absence of the team leader (80% position), you will take over to ensure the smooth running of operations and coordinate the jar filling team.

Your responsibilities
Production

• Perform the filling and assembly of jars according to production sheets.
• Respect the weights, assembly order, and product presentation.
• Prepare the lids and ensure compliant closing of the jars.
• Perform labeling, packaging, and storage of finished products.
• Control the visual quality and weight of the jars.
• Respect HACCP procedures and food hygiene rules.

Deputy function
During the absences of the team leader, you are responsible for:

• Organizing and distributing the work of the jar filling team.
• Ensuring compliance with the production schedule and priorities.
• Monitoring production rates and reacting in case of problems.
• Controlling quality points (weight, labeling, product compliance).
• Ensuring communication with the kitchen and the production manager.
• Supporting and training new employees on the line.

Your profile

• Experience in food production, collective catering, or the agri-food industry.
• Sense of organization and ability to manage priorities.
• Natural leadership and ability to coordinate a small team.
• Rigor, speed, and attention to detail.
• Good resistance to standing work and a fast pace.
• Mastery of French (oral and written).

An asset:

• Experience in food packaging or managing a production line.
• HACCP knowledge.
