IMAD is a pioneering and reference institution in home care in the canton of Geneva. It provides care, support, prevention, and health promotion services 7j/7, 24h/24, to more than 18'000 patients of all ages, of whom 25% are under 65 years old.

Assistant in community care and health (ASSC) / 80-100% / permanent contract

Rattaché.e to a home care team, the ASSC provides services independently, respecting the lifestyle, beliefs, values, and culture of the client. Works in interdisciplinarity and interprofessionality, respecting the mission and objectives of the institution.

Your missions and responsibilities

• Provide basic care and medico-technical acts, delegated by the reference nurse, in a global approach to the client
• Promote the recovery of the client's state of health, the reinforcement or maintenance of their autonomy to allow them to re-establish, continue, or adapt their lifestyle so that they can stay or return home
• Evaluate and re-evaluate practical assistance situations and take responsibility for them
• Perform practical assistance services respecting the client's lifestyle and environment
• Promote the maintenance of links with the entourage and collaborate with them by determining resources and providing information and support.

Qualifications

• Federal certificate of capacity (CFC) as ASSC and authorization to practice in the canton of Geneva
• Sense of communication and relationship with others, listening skills
• Ability to evaluate situations and act responsibly
• Resistance to stress and physical work
• Aptitude for working independently and in interprofessionality within a multidisciplinary team
• Mobility indispensable (by bicycle / on foot / by car / by TPG).
