famiya is an association active since 1987 in the districts of Sarine and Lac (canton of Fribourg). It supervises approximately 150 childcare providers in family settings, offers 280 childcare places distributed across 38 communes, and operates under the supervisory mandate of the Service de l'enfance et de la jeunesse (SEJ). In the context of the retirement of its director, famiya is looking for its future leadership.

Your mission

You ensure the strategic and operational management of the association, in close connection with the executive committee. You are responsible for relations with the State, the communes, and institutional partners, financial and human resources management, statutory tasks, as well as steering development projects. As a bearer of a vision, you like to take on challenges and move things forward. You embody the values of famiya towards families, childcare providers, and authorities.

Your profile

• Higher education in management or social sciences; a CAS or DAS in management of non-profit institutions is an asset
• Proven experience in management or extended responsibility in a comparable institution
• Financial rigor; good basics in accounting and HR
• Comfortable in the simultaneous management of varied files, able to prioritize and decide quickly under pressure
• Relational intelligence and sense of listening
• Very good command of French; good knowledge of German
• Knowledge of the software is an asset
