For over 60 years, the Fondation Les Buissonnets has welcomed children and adults with disabilities in its two Home-écoles (HER and Schulheim), the Home Atelier for adults (Homato), the Physio-ergo Service, and the itinerant educational Service (SEI) of the canton of Fribourg.

Due to the departure of the management of the Home-École Romand (HER), we are looking for a person meeting the following profile:

Director of the HER at 100%

Your mission:

• Operational and pedago-therapeutic management of a specialized school and a living space for students aged between 4 and 18 with disabilities.
• Responsibility for the human, financial, and material resources of the HER, in collaboration with the general secretariat of the Fondation Les Buissonnets
• Responsibility for the teaching and the pedagogical and therapeutic activities of the HER (organization of classes, distribution of students, student monitoring, etc.).
• Ensure communication with the partners and internal and external stakeholders of the HER, in collaboration with the general secretariat of the Fondation Les Buissonnets.
• Participate in the development and implementation of the strategy of the Fondation Les Buissonnets and the HER, in collaboration with the Fondation and its other institutions.

Profile sought:

• University degree in the field of special education or a title deemed equivalent.
• CAS/DAS in management of social institutions.
• At least five years of experience in special education.
• Solid experience in management, project management, personnel management, and financial management (planning, budget, etc.).
• Excellent social and communication skills, ability to manage innovative situations, ability to participate in the strategy of the Fondation and the HER, in collaboration with the Fondation and its other institutions.
• French as a mother tongue, with very good knowledge of the German language (min. level B2).
