Job description

To strengthen our IT team, we are recruiting an

IT/OT Systems Team Leader

Mission :

Ensure the reliability, security, support, and continuous improvement of information systems critical to the company and production throughout the company.

Act as a senior technical expert, providing hands-on administration, support, and evolution of applications, systems, and platforms supporting both business and production activities.

Contribute to the modernization of the company's technological landscape via automation, DevOps practices, and containerization technologies.

Coordinate the daily activities of the Systems, Applications, and On-site Services teams, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence.

This position is primarily technical, with approximately 80% of the time devoted to technical activities and up to 20% to team coordination and operational leadership.

Tasks & responsibilities :

• Lead and coordinate the Systems, Applications, and On-site Services teams
• Ensure the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of systems and applications critical to the company and production
• Provide technical expertise on Windows, Linux, applications, and operational technology environments
• Act as the main escalation point for complex technical issues and major incidents
• Coordinate operational activities with the Swatch group infrastructure teams, external partners, and suppliers
• Promote automation, containerization, and modern application deployment practices, including Docker and Kubernetes technologies
• Guarantee appropriate documentation, knowledge transfer, and cross-training to strengthen operational resilience and reduce dependency on key individuals
• Participate in ICT projects and support the continuous improvement of systems, services, and processes
• Contribute to cybersecurity, business continuity, and compliance initiatives.

Profile

• Master's or HES degree in computer science, information technology, systems engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to lead and develop team members, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence. Minimum 7 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure, IT operations, application management, or industrial IT environments.
• Proven experience in supporting business-critical systems in a demanding and highly available environment.
• Solid experience in Windows and Linux administration.
• Experience with enterprise applications, middleware, and database platforms.
• Good understanding of networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• Experience working with centralized infrastructure organizations, shared service centers, and external providers.
• Experience with Docker, containerization technologies, and modern application deployment practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively between technical and business functions.

Professional requirements

• Training in leadership or team management is a plus.
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator, MCSA, or similar (a plus).
• Knowledge of MES, manufacturing applications, or production environments
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, industrial IT, or operational technology environments is a major asset
