Recognized as a competence center within the framework of the Law on special pedagogy, the CPHV promotes the inclusion of people with visual impairments in Romandie. It is part of the Fondation Asile des aveugles, founded in Lausanne in 1843, which includes the Hôpital ophtalmique Jules-Gonin in Lausanne, the social service and low vision rehabilitation, the vision science research center, and the EMS Clair-Soleil in Ecublens, a medico-social establishment specially adapted for elderly visually impaired people.

Pedagogical Intern

To support students with a visual impairment within the school and the boarding school of the CPHV, Lausanne, 100% position

Your mission

• Support young students with visual disabilities in their practical and school projects.
• Support students and young people during boarding school times and supervised homework.
• In connection with the class teachers, imagine, adapt, propose ideas or activities related to the specific needs of each student.
• Participate in the follow-up of the individualized pedagogical project of each student.
• Support, motivate students to develop autonomy in daily gestures and socialization within the group
