Metrology Technician (M/F) - Permanent position (Fribourg - FR)

Your mission

For one of our renowned clients in the field of watchmaking, based in the canton of Fribourg, we are looking for a Metrology Technician (M/F). In a demanding industrial environment, you are the guarantor of the precision and reliability of measuring equipment, within a defined scope, taking into account the evolution of needs. Your tasks: Perform metrological verifications and calibrations of instruments and measuring equipment, according to current standards; Ensure corrective maintenance of measuring devices: diagnose and resolve malfunctions to limit production downtime; Participate in the acquisition and integration of new measuring equipment, ensuring their adequacy with technical and operational requirements; Write technical documentation, formalize work procedures, and capitalize on knowledge; Collaborate with the relevant departments (industrialization, buildings and infrastructure, IT, security, safety and environment); Ensure compliance with internal directives in all your missions

Your profile

You are a rigorous, autonomous, and technically curious person. You have: A degree in physical measurements, quality, or equivalent (ES or HES Technician); Proficiency in managing a fleet of measuring equipment, experience in this field being appreciated; Ease in writing uncertainty reports and certificates, reading plans, and applying ISO standards; Knowledge of industrial electricity and mechanics. You are: Possessed of a good sense of synthesis, teamwork, and excellent communication; Capable of taking initiatives and working autonomously; Flexible and in phase with the company's values
