Domain Manager

Job Description ##

The Direction de l'architecture et des bâtiments ensures the planning, programming, development, construction, and maintenance of all buildings of the l-État de Vaud.

In order to complete its team, it is looking for a domain manager for the Prisons estate. In this capacity, you will supervise all construction projects in this domain and guarantee the quality of services, financial objectives, as well as deadlines.

Responsibilities ##

• Ensure the follow-up of the domain's affairs, guaranteeing at all times complete information on the progress of projects
• Coordinate and lead the team of project managers in the domain, support them in the realization of projects, organize work, foster team spirit and ensure their motivation
• Represent the Maitre d'ouvrage and defend the interests of l-État de Vaud during all phases of the projects
• As domain manager, actively participate in the life of the direction, support the directeur de l'architecture et des bâtiments in his missions and play a relay role with his team by carrying and bringing to life the direction's orientations within his domain
• Represent the Direction de l'architecture et des bâtiments during meetings, with partners, third parties, other services of l-État de Vaud and working groups.

Qualifications ##

• Master in the field of architecture, engineering or equivalent, supplemented by training in project management
• At least 10 years of professional experience in project management
• Excellent knowledge in real estate project management and organizational management
• Leadership, autonomy, decision-making spirit, sense of listening and organization
• Ability to create and maintain positive exchanges within networks of stakeholders and specialists, sense of responsibility and ethics of public service.
