For one of our clients based in Lausanne, we are looking for a:

Supply Chain Manager

Permanent position - 100 %

Job Description ##

• Management of the procurement team of the group concerned.
• Management of assigned categories/services, defining strategies.
• Selection of suppliers able to meet our needs, evaluating assigned suppliers, and prospecting potential suppliers.
• Achieving the objectives set by Management (cost reduction, inventory control, reduction in the number of suppliers,-)
• Participating in BT Projects during their development phase.
• Technological monitoring and management of components in the obsolescence phase.
• Responding to the needs of Sales and PDR for the preparation of quotes.
• Any other task appearing in the specifications of another buyer, for replacements.

Profile sought ##

• BASIC TRAINING: CFC or equivalent training in a mechanical trade
• SPECIALIZED TRAINING: Training as a senior buyer or equivalent
• LANGUAGES: Fluent French, English, German
• REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :

Experience as a senior Buyer in the mechanical field related to the machine industry / railway field

• REQUIREMENTS DUE TO WORKING CONDITIONS

Excellent priority management, organized and methodical
