Care and Support Assistant - 60% to 100%

As a care and support assistant, you take charge of patients of all ages. Under the responsibility of the nursing staff, you perform basic care and support by providing constant assistance, while developing and promoting human relations.

You also participate in the organization of daily activities to ensure their physical, psychological, and social well-being. Thus, you provide support and substitution in the activities of daily living for patients and in the support of their families.

You ensure the cleaning tasks of the immediate environment of the patient and contribute to their safety by respecting current hygiene and asepsis rules.

You participate actively in the prevention of complications related to hospitalization in collaboration with other healthcare professionals (pain, pressure ulcer prevention, fall prevention…).

Benefiting from a Federal Certificate of Vocational Education and Training (AFP) as a care and support assistant (ASA) or an equivalent diploma recognized by the Swiss Red Cross or a French State diploma of aide-soignant necessarily accompanied by the certificate of recognition from the Swiss Red Cross. You have professional experience in the health field, ideally in a hospital setting, and have a perfect command of French, both spoken and written.

You demonstrate abilities to accompany patients through their hospital journey, and know how to adapt quickly to changes in work rhythm.

You demonstrate a sense of welcome and communication and have the capacity to work in an interdisciplinary team. Your team spirit, your creativity, and your sense of organization and anticipation allow you to position yourself as a true partner in care.

You join the institution at different care locations in the canton of Genève.
