About Our Client ##

Our client is a fast-growing service company, based in Geneva, with international activities and partners.

As part of its development and the structuring of its finance function, we are looking for a Senior Accountant capable of independently managing all accounting and financial activities of the Swiss company while participating in the consolidation of international entities.

Job Description ##

Reporting directly to Management, you will hold a central function within the organization.

Your main missions include:

Accounting and finance

• Full maintenance of the general accounting of the Swiss company.
• Management of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Execution and monitoring of payments.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Monthly and annual closings.
• VAT declarations.
• Participation in tax declarations.
• Preparation of financial statements.

Consolidation and reporting

• Consolidation of the various group entities.
• Preparation of financial reports intended for Management.
• Monitoring of budgets and cash flow.
• Coordination with external accounting partners located internationally.

Personnel administration

• Payroll management.
• Monitoring of social insurances.
• Routine HR administration.
• Support to international employees.

The Successful Applicant ##

• Higher education in accounting, finance or equivalent.
• Proven experience in Swiss accounting from A to Z.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar function.
• Solid knowledge of Swiss GAAP standards.
• Good mastery of consolidation mechanisms and IFRS standards.
• Knowledge of the US accounting environment is an asset.
• Minimum C1 level of fluent French.
• Fluent level of English both spoken and written, minimum C1.
• Ability to produce financial reports in English.
• High autonomy and sense of responsibility.
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
