To strengthen its team, it is looking for a person capable of ensuring the monitoring of technical files and small civil engineering construction sites. The Ville de Sion is announcing a vacancy for a ### Civil Engineering Technician -- Roads and Networks M/F Fixed-term Contract (6 months) -- 100% activity rate within the Service des travaux publics et de l'environnement, Roads and Networks section. Main missions * examine projects for private connections to wastewater and clean water networks, formulate the technical conditions of permits, coordinate stakeholders and monitor works on site; follow up on non-conformities and execution-compliant plans; * process excavation permit requests, set intervention conditions, monitor the securing and maintenance of access, then monitor the quality of backfilling, repairs and administrative closure; * examine simple public inquiry files concerning roads, access and networks; verify their technical compliance, draft preliminary opinions and transmit complex or exceptional cases to the manager; * prepare and monitor small civil engineering construction sites: descriptions, measurements, estimates, requests for quotes and orders, coordination of stakeholders, quality controls, deadlines and costs, acceptance and monitoring of guarantees; * support the section managers in studies and construction sites: surveys, findings, simple plans, technical files and occasional controls; collaborate with services, contractors and companies and follow up on certain files in their absence. Employment conditions * hold a CFC as a civil engineering draftsman, a road constructor or an equivalent technical training. A technician ES diploma in the field is an asset. * have practical experience in sanitation networks, road works or the management of small construction sites; * know the VSS, VSA, SIA and SN 592 000 standards, know how to read and check technical plans and know the procedures related to building permits and interventions on the public domain; * master common IT tools; knowledge of a drawing software and a geographic information system is desired; * hold a category B driver's license; * demonstrate autonomy, rigor, organization and ease in the field, know how to manage several files, communicate and write with clarity, ensure compliance with instructions with firmness and diplomacy, and work in a team in a public service spirit.
