The General Secretariat of the BCV ensures the operational and organizational support of the Executive Board. It facilitates coordination between the different internal entities and the Executive Board, guaranteeing rigorous, confidential, and efficient management of information and the decisions of the Executive Board.

Following the announcement of the retirement of the current holder, we are looking for a:

Head of the General Secretariat of the BCV

Your main missions

• Ensure the steering and coordination of the weekly meetings of the Executive Board: preparation of meetings, organization, drafting of minutes, transmission of decisions, conservation of documents
• Guarantee a fluid and structured relationship between the Executive Board and the departments of the Bank, as well as with the subsidiaries
• Be the internal point of entry for FINMA, the Ombudsman, and the umbrella organizations of the industry; coordinate the professional relationship
• Supervise the general secretariat team: human resources, organization, communication and data security in particular
• Assist the CEO in occasional missions, ensure the follow-up of specific files
• Act as a deputy for the Secretary of the Board of Directors in her absence

Your profile

• University education at Master's level, in Economics, Law or any other field related to the function
• Professional experience in the banking or financial sector in Switzerland, in a similar role and/or as a Project Manager, Project management Officer (PMO) or administrative manager
• Analytical mind, great administrative rigor
• Interpersonal skills, diplomacy and discretion
• Mastery of French (spoken and written), excellent writing skills
• Very good knowledge of German and English desired, Italian an asset
