Operational Manager

As part of the organization of the Village de Noël de Sierre, we are looking for an Operational Manager to ensure the coordination and smooth running of the event on the ground.
As a true link between management, teams, and various stakeholders, you will be at the heart of the daily operation of the Village de Noël.
Your mission: ensure the smooth functioning of installations and activities, anticipate needs, coordinate stakeholders, and contribute to offering a quality experience to visitors and partners.
Your missions

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations throughout the Village de Noël.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of the different spaces: chalets, catering, Dôme, bars, and entertainment.
• Organize and coordinate the work of the operational teams.
• Be the preferred interlocutor for exhibitors, service providers, suppliers, and partners on the ground.
• Supervise logistical, material, and technical needs in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate the daily preparation, opening, and closing of the site.
• Anticipate difficulties and provide quick and adapted solutions.
• Ensure the application of safety instructions and operational procedures, in collaboration with the competent managers.
• Ensure effective communication with management and transmit important information.
• Guarantee fluid organization and optimal quality of welcome.

Your profile

• Proven experience in the operational management of events, festivals, or public manifestations.
• Excellent organizational, anticipation, and priority management skills.
• Leadership, autonomy, and sense of responsibility.
• Dynamic, versatile, and solution-oriented personality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate multiple interlocutors.
• Good resistance to stress and ability to take initiative.
• Ease in managing unforeseen events and situations requiring rapid intervention.
• Availability to work according to a schedule including evenings and weekends.

Experience in the operation of Christmas markets, festivals, or events welcoming the public constitutes an important asset.

• A fixed-term contract for the period of the Village de Noël de Sierre.
