• Independently answer legal inquiries in German, French and English
• Check and process research, procurement and other contracts in German, French and English
• Research and write legal clarifications in versatile legal areas (labor law, IP, agricultural law, animal protection law, contract law etc.) in German, French and English
• Representation of Agroscope in appeal proceedings and in court
• Legal support and ev leading of projects, conducting internal legal training sessions

What makes you unique

• Completed legal studies
• several years of professional experience in a law firm, administration or company. Experience in advising business partners and interest/experience in labor law an advantage
• open, flexible, approachable, structured personality, resilient and well-integratable into a small team
• Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
• Knowledge of two official languages and English

Agroscope is the federal competence center for research in the agricultural and food industry. The researchers carry out their activities at various locations in Switzerland. The headquarters is Bern-Liebefeld (from 2026: Posieux FR). Agroscope is located within the Eidg. Departement für Wirtschaft, Bildung und Forschung WBF.

Additional information

The legal service advises the management as well as the employees of Agroscope on all legal topics related to their professional activities. It checks the contracts concluded by Agroscope and ensures the application of the legal provisions on public procurement, data protection and transparency. Furthermore, it offers support in the legislative process and in proceedings that affect Agroscope, particularly in the area of enforcement tasks.
